Fresh bread is served for breakfast in a WomenCraft Bread Basket. The basket featured in the image is made from local grasses and the upcycled white threads of local Gunia grain sacks.
How it's Made
Handwoven from all natural and upcycled materials: local grasses, dried bark of banana trees, and threads of upcycled Nubian grain sacks. All our products are intricately woven by hand, following traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years. The weaving technique is very labor-intensive, so even smaller products take several days to weave. Artisans use molds and are supervised by lead-weavers to ensure all products meet WomenCraft's high quality standards.
